ATF Youth Conference 2010

ATF Youth Conference 2010:
We need volunteers to house the college-age interns that come to town as workers for the ATF Youth Conference. The young people arrive March 18th and leave March 21st. They need transportation, housing, and breakfast during their stay. Below is a list of the details we have at this time as to the commitment items for those interested in helping us house the workers. Please help if you can. It is a very rewarding service that is key to the salvation of hundreds of teens who attend the conference.

For housing of ATF Volunteers:
The people housing the ATF College Interns have their choice of male of female and how many they can accommodate. They will have to provide transportation for the ATF volunteers to and from the coliseum. The schedule would be as follows:
Pickup Interns Thursday evening (March 18) around 6 or 7 pm
Feed interns breakfast on Friday morning (March 19th) and drop off at the coliseum around 8 am.
Pick up interns Friday evening around 11 pm or midnight.
Feed interns breakfast on Saturday morning (March 20th) and drop off at the coliseum around 7am.
Pick up interns Saturday evening around midnight or 1 am.
Feed interns breakfast on Sunday morning (March 21st) and drop off at the coliseum around 8 am.

ATF requests that anyone housing the volunteers lives within 15 minutes of the coliseum if possible to be easier on the transportation and to offer the longest possible sleep time for the interns. If anyone can house any interns and transport them, ATF would greatly appreciate it. The interns are wonderful and the opportunity is very rewarding to the host homes.

If you can help us, please contact Chris and Jan at the church office (336)282-0679, or by email at jelliott@cohglory.org, or after hours by phone at (336)287-6302. Thank you in advance for your help.

Our Cell Bible Studies are an extension of our church. They are created to meet individual needs of our members. Members can find encouragement, prayer, one on one ministry and mentorship through a cell. We encourage every member of our congregation to get involved in Cell Bible Study. Cells are set up for evangelism as a way to win the lost.

Who can attend a cell? ANYBODY!! Family, friends, members - everyone is welcome and you encouraged to bring somebody with you. Find a Bible study fellowship that you can become a part of. We have cell groups for men and women. Call the office at 282-0679 for more info.
